Ride Details

Directions to the Ride Start: 
Event Headquarters is the Curry Showcase Building at the Curry County Fairgrounds. For those with Internet Mapping, the official address is 29392 Ellensburg, Gold Beach, OR 97444
For the rest of us, t
he Fairgrounds is located in Gold Beach on US Hwy 101 (Ellensburg Avenue) between mile markers 329 and 330 on the west (ocean) side of the highway.

Printed Pocket-sized Milepost Log 
Reusable Eco-Friendly Souvenir Canvas swag bag filled with Clif Bars, magazines, water bottle, and more

F
ood and drink at rest stops (100-mile riders also receive lunch)
Support/Sweep vehicles (With pump, lubes, and tools for riders to use; but no spare parts nor mechanic) 
Special discounted rates at area hotels 

Start Times: (Due to agreements with the City of Gold Beach Police Department and our insurance carrier ALL RIDERS MUST START TOGETHER!)

Limited Entry:
The number of riders per route is limited. Space in each route is available on a first-come, first served basis.

Weather:
Riders can expect to experience a variety of weather changes. Inland can be warm, while the higher altitudes can be cold, and the area along the ocean is usually windy. Riders should come prepared. This is a “rain or shine” ride. 

Refund Policy:
We understand where circumstances arrive and plans can change. The Festival will refund your entire entry fee if we receive a letter in writing requesting a refund in our office 21 days prior to the event date. Refund requests received after that time and up until the event date will be considered on a case by case basis. No refunds will be given for requests received after the event date.

SAG WAGONS NOT ALLOWED
Please do NOT bring a support vehicle/sag wagon. The additional congestion and pollution are not welcome. There will be ample support and food on the course. Having people follow you and support you along the way is not necessary nor appreciated, however if they would like to wait for you at the Checkpoints they are more than welcome to do so. 

Cell Phones:
This is a very rural and remote area. Many sections of all routes are outside of cell-phone range. You can bring one if you wish, but don't be surprised if it doesn't work.

For Your Protection:
Helmets Are Required.
All riders will be assigned a number. You must affix it to the front of your bike so it is visible to support personnel.
Safety Rules MUST be observed at all times.
Stop at all stop signs.
RIDE SINGLE FILE on the right side of the roadway -- leave adequate stopping distance between riders.
Obey all traffic laws.
Observe good road manners – ride friendly.
Make sure your bike is in good condition -- especially your brakes.

All riders MUST carry some form of identification, including your emergency contact phone number. If you have a medical alert bracelet, please wear it.  

Accident Reporting:
All riders are required to report any type of accident or injury to a checkpoint official. You are responsible for your own medical insurance. Read the Release/Waiver form. 

Drinks & Snacks will be provided at all Riders' Rest Stops:
This may include Fruit (apples, bananas, oranges), Cookies, Bagels (with cream cheese or peanut butter & jelly), Juice, Water, Sports Drink

Litter:
Remember this is a beautiful scenic ride, please NO Litter. Keep your Clif Bar wrappers in your pocket. There are garbage cans at each Riders' Rest Stop.
